Recall of James Wellbeloved™ Cat Oral Care & James Wellbeloved™ Cat Hairball Dry Food in the UK

James Wellbeloved™ is voluntarily recalling certain batches of Cat Oral Care (1.5kg, 4kg & 10kg) and James Wellbeloved™ Cat Hairball (1.5kg & 4kg) dry food with the specific batch numbers and best before dates detailed below.  

Due to a manufacturing system error, the affected products do not contain the required vitamin levels for a complete and balanced diet and therefore are not suitable for use as a cat's sole source of nutrition.   

The health of pets is paramount to James Wellbeloved™ which is why we’re initiating a voluntary recall of the affected batches of the product.

The recall concerns only the products, batch codes and best before dates detailed below:    

No other James Wellbeloved™ products or Mars Petcare products are affected. 

Advice for consumers   

If you have the product listed above, please stop feeding the product to your pet. Please keep the product packaging and contact our Consumer Care team via the details below to arrange reimbursement:

If pet owners are feeding the affected products as their cat’s exclusive diet for a few weeks, the vitamin deficiency could lead to health issues.
