Kale
We all know that green, leafy vegetables are good for us, and it turns out they’re great for dogs too.
Kale is a natural source of antioxidants and high in calcium, iron, potassium, and vitamins A, C, and K. Oh, and as if all that isn’t enough, it’s also a great source of fibre. All hail, kale!
Quinoa
Apart from being a nightmare to pronounce (keen-wah), quinoa has just about everything going for it. It’s a natural source of fibre, and one of the few vegetable sources of complete proteins, supplying all eight of the essential amino acids. It’s gluten-free and easy to digest, and contains folate, magnesium, iron, phosphorous and many phytochemicals. Including this clever little grain in your four-legged friend’s diet will help to keep them in tail-wagging shape.
Sweet potato
These tuberous roots are a natural source of fibre. They are also packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants including beta-carotene, iron, calcium, heart-healthy vitamin A and immune-system-boosting vitamin C.
Chia seeds
These tiny seeds are a nutritional powerhouse, packed with Omega-3, protein, fibre, antioxidants, calcium, iron, magnesium and B vitamins. Small but mighty!
Ingredients you won’t find in healthy dog food
Of course, there would be no point packing our superfoods range with the good stuff if we spoiled that with any of the ‘nasties’. So, just like all our other James Wellbeloved meals, the Superfoods range is nutritionally balanced, hypoallergenic food with only one animal protein that excludes artificial additives and common allergens.
Want to make you dog feel super?
