Congratulations to Sarah Hill for this wonderful film of her beloved dog. The judges selected Sarah’s video because she had really embraced the brief we’d set. Not only did she provide a soundtrack to her film, she’d also experimented with the speeds of filming, and had used interesting angles – often getting down to her dog’s level to provide a better point-of-view perspective. Sarah clearly put a lot of thought and effort into her film, using historical clips to provide a life’s journey in just a few happy clips, and the judges were impressed with her efforts.

Winner - Cat Category
Congratulations to Ann Fish for her wonderful film of her beloved cat. The judges were fully aware of the fact that it’s a tough task to produce the same standard of film for a cat than it is for a dog. For one, most cats like to nap throughout the day and roam about at night, when it’s often impossible to follow them and capture their antics on camera. As a result, there is considerably less opportunity for outdoor footage available than for a dog, but Ann was able to film some lovely moments of her cat exploring and playing outdoors.
