These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

  1. This promotion is only open to UK, Ireland and Channel Islands residents aged 18 or over, who have purchased a qualifying James Wellbeloved™ Dry Cat or Dry Dog 1.5kg or 2kg product and who comply with these terms and conditions, excluding employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
  2. A qualifying original receipt & product package as well as an email address and internet access are required.
  3. Promotional Period: To qualify for a refund, purchases must be made between 31.01.2021 and 16.03.2021 (inclusive).
  4. To see a visible difference, you must feed your pet a qualifying James Wellbeloved™ Dry Cat or Dry Dog 1.5kg or 2kg product for 30 consecutive days.
  5. Refund is available only for a qualifying James Wellbeloved™ Dry Cat or Dry Dog 1.5kg or 2kg product. Offer excludes any other James Wellbeloved™ pack sizes and any James Wellbeloved™ Ferret products. Applications for a refund claim must be submitted after a trial period of 30 consecutive days from purchase (both dates included). Your 30 day trial period will be deemed to have commenced on the date of purchase as specified on your receipt.  Following the 30 day trial period, you have 28 days to apply for your refund (both dates included). Any claim received outside of these dates will not be refunded.
  6. Maximum 1 refund claim per household. For the avoidance of doubt, if more than the permitted number of claims are received from the same address, all such claims and any associated claims from their household will be disqualified.
  7. A refund may be claimed for one individual pack only (1.5kg or 2kg). If multiple packs of different sizes (i.e. 1.5kg and 2kg) were purchased, a refund may be claimed for one 2kg pack only. If multiple packs were purchased as part of a multibuy promotion, a pro rata refund may be claimed for the promotional price of one pack only (for example, if you purchased two packs as part of a “2 for £20” multibuy promotion, you may claim a pro rata refund of £10).  If a case containing multiple individual packs was purchased, a pro rata refund may be claimed for the cost of one individual pack only.
  8. Bulk claims made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted.
  9. The refund claim value shall be the price paid (in Pound sterling or Euros, as applicable) as evidenced by the original receipt submitted with the claim. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the refund shall under no circumstances be higher than the Maximum Refund Value (RRP) amounts highlighted in the table below.

  10. In order to claim a full refund, you must

(a) Go to www.wellbeloved.com/30-day-wellbeing-challenge

(b) Complete the refund claim form with your first and last name, email address, postal address, date of purchase, product purchased, price paid and PayPal email address or BACS details (sort code & account number); you must make your claim using your full legal name, as per the name on your bank account. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Claimant who uses multiple names or any false names and to require them to return to the Promoter the full amount of any refund awarded.

(c) Upload a photo of the original till receipt dated within the Promotional Period and which clearly shows the purchase of the qualifying James Wellbeloved™ product for which you are looking to claim a refund. Ensure that the retailer details, the product, the price and purchase dates are clearly visible on the original receipt.

(d) Upload a photo of the front of pack of the qualifying product.

(e) Tell us in no less than 15 words why you are dissatisfied with the product after feeding it to your pet for 30 consecutive days; the reason for dissatisfaction can only be related to the product and not to services such as delivery or consumer care.

(f) Submit the completed form on-line.

  1. Submissions for refunds which (i) do not comply fully with the requirements of Paragraph 10 of these Terms and Conditions or (ii) which are received before the end of the 30 day trial period (as specified in Paragraph 5) or (iii) which are received after the 28 day period specified in Paragraph 5 above, will be rejected.
  2. Your statutory rights are not affected by this offer.
  3. Claimants submitting a valid claim will receive a refund to the value of the price paid (subject to the maximum refund value as highlighted in Paragraph 9 above) for the qualifying James Wellbeloved™ product as evidenced by their till receipt. The refund will be issued via BACs or PayPal. You will be able to select your preferred method of refund payment on the on-line claim form. Please allow 28 days for the receipt of your refund from validation of your claim.
  4. Except where you have opted-in to receive future communications from Mars Petcare UK or its associated companies, all personal information provided on the application form will be retained and used by the Promoter or its appointed promotional agency, Valassis Ltd, solely for purposes connected with the administration of this money back offer. Bank account and sort code details provided by claimants requesting payment of their refund by bank transfer will be deleted automatically following payment of the refund.   5. The claimant appoints Valassis Ltd of Weldon House, Corby Gate Business Park, Corby, Northants NN17 5JG (“Valassis”) as its agent to conclude the sale and purchase of certain services on its behalf for the purposes of facilitating the payment of cashback and other benefits from the Promoter to the claimant. As part of this, Valassis may collect money due to the claimant from the Promoter on their behalf and transfer it to the claimant.
  6. The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, invalidate claims deemed to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions, contrary to the spirit of the Promotion or which otherwise bring the Promotion into disrepute in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion.
  7. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of claimants and their claims. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and a claim may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.
  8. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, incorrectly submitted, illegible, incomplete or misdirected claims or for technical failures or otherwise. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
  9. By entering the Promotion claimants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by the decisions of the Promoter, which are final in all matters relating to the Promotion. No correspondence will be entered into.
  10. Claims are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part.
  11. The Promoter reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions or to terminate or cancel the Promotion and/or a reward at any time without notice. For instance, if for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, or invalidate any affected claims.
  12. Bulk claims made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible claims, by or via third parties or syndicates, claims by macros or other automated means (including systems which can be programmed to enter), and claims which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions in full will be invalidated.
  13. In entering into this Promotion, entrants do so at their sole risk. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. This Promotion does not affect the statutory rights of the claimant.
  14. If any provisions of these Terms and Conditions are judged to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this shall not affect or impact the continuation in full force and effect the remainder of the provisions.
  15. Entry to the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  16. This Promotion and all issues arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed in accordance with English Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
